We can announce another 3 speakers to the fabulous line up that includes Matt Wagner from Main Street America, Elke Kroft a Founder of Advier Consultancy in Amsterdam and Danielle Hobbs the Managing Director of Mildura City Heart.

Lorena Lyon is an experienced workforce development leader with a strong background in HR, project, and contract management across employment services, retail, media, and community sectors. Currently Lorena is a Director of Workforce Development at RDA Murraylands & Riverland, delivering strategic programs that drive employment outcomes.

David West is a founder of MainstreetSA that was formed 15 years ago after a National Conference in Adelaide. David has previously managed Westfield shopping centres and Rundle Mall. In 2011 David worked in the Heart of London Business Alliance in a business engagement role. David authored Australia’s first mainstreet book titled ‘ Mainstreet Management – Successful Retail Strategies ‘.

Emma Grivell is the Chair of MainstreetSA and an economic development and business engagement leader at the City of Charles Sturt Council. Emma is dedicated to strengthening local economies, activating precincts and positioning Western Adelaide as a vibrant place to invest, visit and grow. In her role she advocates for businesses and precincts through Charles Sturt Business — delivering strategic business engagement, investment attraction initiatives and place-based activation that drives measurable economic outcomes. As Chair of Mainstreet SA, she represents and supports mainstreet associations across South Australia, championing grassroots business communities and fostering collaboration between local government and traders to build resilient, high-performing precincts.
